Our Key Programs

  • Grow from Within’ (GFW): This internal development program nurtures and uplifts our talent pool. This approach creates a progression pathway, enabling machinery operators to ascend into junior management roles. This strategy motivates our personnel and leverages their hands-on experience and skills.

  • Strategic Talent Acquisition and Retention Program: helps us build a robust leadership pipeline and ensures seamless succession planning.

  • Graduate Engineer Trainee Program: This specialised initiative is thoughtfully designed to equip talented graduates with the requisite skill sets and knowledge to excel in their future leadership roles. During the past year, we have welcomed and nurtured several graduate engineer trainees within our organisation.

Protecting Our Team

  • Employee health and safety are a priority at Syrma SGS.
  • A number of committees at Syrma SGS are dedicated to employee safety and well-being. These include the SHE Care committee, ERT (Emergency Response Team), First Aid Team, 6S, Canteen committee, grievance committee, and POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) committee. 
  • Those committees work collaboratively so that our safety measures and employee benefits are enhanced.
  • Annually, we undertake a Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) and develop an emergency preparedness and response plan. In this way, we are prepared to deal with unforeseen situations effectively.
  • We also maintain a Safety Organization Chart, and provide our team with essential personal protective equipment. This includes safety shoes, goggles, protective nitrile gloves, and aprons.

  • We have a suggestion system to encourage employees to share their ideas for safety improvements.
  • We follow a comprehensive EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) training calendar that covers workplace hazards, safe work practices, emergency response protocols, and machine safety. 
  • Our Occupational Health Centre (OHC) is dedicated to addressing employees' health concerns, providing medical support when needed.
  • We conduct regular inspections and audits, aiming to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
