History

We are the culmination of 40+ years of experience between Syrma and SGS Tekniks.

Syrma, a Tandon Group company is known for its presence in electronics manufacturing since the late seventies. The Company has played a leading role in India’s early electronics manufacturing foray.

SGS Tekniks is a first generation Indian electronics manufacturing company started in the early 90s catering to automotive customers in North India.

Syrma and SGS Tekniks merged into Syrma SGS and now have a strong presence with marquee Global and Indian customers.

Sandeep Tandon

Executive Chairman
AUSC and Harvard Business School alumnus, Sandeep Tandon is the Executive Chairman of Syrma SGS. With an 18-year industry tenure, including a pivotal role at Celetronix Inc. USA Tandon is recognised for his strategic foresight and technology catalyst role. Besides steering his businesses, he also supports the tech ecosystemas an angel investor

Jasbir S. Gujral

Managing Director
Jasbir Singh Gujral, a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, serves as Syrma SGS’s Managing Director, has 39 years in electronics manufacturing. Not only a founding promoter of SGS Tekniks Manufacturing Pvt Ltd, he is also known for his leadership and active participation in charitable causes.

Satendra Singh

CEO
Satendra Singh is the CEO of Syrma SGS. He has over three decades of experience in operations, strategic planning, global supply chain, and manufacturing. Satendra has deep knowledge of Indian and global industry. He was most recently Global Head of Hardware Service Delivery at Nokia, and has held several leadership positions over a 15 year period. Prior to Nokia, He has also served as Director Operations at Flextronics where he led the P&L as Flex’s business head in India. Some of his key achievements have been setting up India’s largest telecom infrastructure manufacturing facility, crafting and implementing new global supply network strategies targeted to increase agility and market proximity, leading Industry 4.0 initiatives culminating in Nokia Oulu plant becoming a WEF lighthouse factory, leading global supply chain transition to save 100 M€+ in annual costs for Nokia, leveraging local supply ecosystem to optimize TCO and improve time to market, and turning around a loss-making supply operation in Flex India. Satendra holds a master’s degree in manufacturing management from BITS Pilani, and has completed advanced management program from IIM Bangalore, and several executive leadership programs at Nokia.

Krishna Pant

Co-founder - Domestic Business
Krishna Pant is the Co-founder at SyrmaSGS. He heads Domestic Business. He has graduated with honours from Delhi University & has a Post-Graduation in Business Management. He has over 39 years of Experience in Marketing & Management with leading Electronic, Telecom, Automotive and Pharmaceutical companies. A veteran in the industry, he is known for his service orientation and has established many new practices on customer front that has opened doors of opportunities.

Ranjit Singh

Co-founder
Ranjit Singh, Co-founder at SyrmaSGS, leads the Company’s International Business Development and oversees export operations across the US, Europe and Pan Asian countries. AB.Tech graduate with over 39 years in the electronics industry, his expertise includes semiconductors, PC assembly lines and telecom equipment.

Jayesh Doshi

Non-Executive Director
Jayesh is an Investment Director of Tandon Holding Ltd & a Non-Executive Director in Syrma SGS. He also heads the Strategy (including Capital Allocation) and M& A besides assisting the group to build the organisation. He is a Chartered Accountant and a Law graduate having a total work experience of around 36 years. He was Director & Group CFO of Dalmia Bharat Ltd, Prior to this he was Group Director – Strategy & Finance with Panchshil Realty Group. He was also associated with Knowledge Infrastructure Group of Companies . Also worked as Group CFO, DB Group; Executive Director, Ican Investments Advisors Private Limited; CFO, Mercator Lines Limited and Finance, M&A, Treasury & Investor Relations wit Ambuja Cements. He brings with him his relationships with various stakeholders (Bankers / Lenders / Private Funds/ FII) & deep knowledge of Capital Allocation Strategy, Corporate and Structured Finance, M & A and Investments and his work experience with varying industries.

Chetan Walia

Operating Partner
Chetan Walia, an Operating Partner and esteemed scholar in Creativity and Strategy has a two-decade career improving the profitability of over 200 companies worldwide. He is recognised for his innovative thinking and problem-solving skills and has helped organisations Like EY, ACC and World Bank boost their performance by implementing creative, proactive solutions.

Dr Sreeram Srinivasan

Executive Director, SETS
Dr Sreeram Srinivasan is the Executive Director, SETS. He is based out of Chennai. He is responsible for Design and Technical Services for the Company. Academically well accomplished, he holds a B.Tech in Metallurgical Engineering from IIT, Madras and an MS and PhD from North Carolina State University. He is also Member Board of Directors for IESA – Indian Semiconductor and Electronic Association. He has 20+ years of experience in Business Operations. He has previously worked as President & ED, Shanti Gears, MD, Saint Gobain Sekurit India, CEO, MTAR Technologies and VP Operations, Rane Engine Valves. He is highly valued for his contribution to Syrma SGS from its shaping years until now.
