History

We are the culmination of 40+ years of experience between Syrma and SGS Tekniks.

Syrma, a Tandon Group company is known for its presence in electronics manufacturing since the late seventies. The Company has played a leading role in India’s early electronics manufacturing foray.

SGS Tekniks is a first generation Indian electronics manufacturing company started in the early 90s catering to automotive customers in North India.

Syrma and SGS Tekniks merged into Syrma SGS and now have a strong presence with marquee Global and Indian customers.

Sandeep Tandon

Executive Chairman
Sandeep Tandon is the Executive Chairman of Syrma SGS. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Andrew and Erna Viterbi School of Engineering, University of Southern California. He has completed the YPO Presidents’ Program from the Harvard Business School. He has 18+ years of experience in the electronics manufacturing sector. He has previously been associated with Celetronix Inc., USA. His innate ability to transform our strategic vision into attainable action plans has won him accolades of being technology catalyst owning many successful businesses and is an angel investor for the start-ups.

Jasbir S. Gujral

Managing Director
Jasbir Singh Gujral is the Managing Director of Syrma SGS. A fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, he has over 39 years of experience in the electronics manufacturing sector. He is one of the Founding promoters of SGS Tekniks Manufacturing Pvt Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of SYRMA SGS. A profound professional & a team builder, he equally believes in giving back to society and is associated with many charitable organizations. In his career he has been associated with companies like, Metro Milk Products Limited, Eltek Sgs Private Limited, Sgs Tekniks Manufacturing Private Limited, and Valere Power India Private Limited.

Jaideep Tandon

Non-Executive Director
Jaideep Tandon is a Non-Executive Director on the Board of Syrma SGS. He holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University. He has worked in the technology industry for over 15 years. He previously served as the VP of Strategic Accounts at Celetronix, efficiently managing their primary customer accounts: Apple and Dell. Jaideep’s core skills are his innate ability to understand trends and his customer orientation.

Sudeep Tandon

Sudeep Tandon is a Alternate Director on the Board of Syrma SGS.

Jayesh Nagindas Doshi

Non-Executive Director

Jayesh is an Investment Director of Tandon Holding Ltd & a Non-Executive Director in Syrma SGS. He also heads the Strategy (including Capital Allocation) and M& A besides assisting the group to build the organisation. He is a Chartered Accountant and a Law graduate having a total work experience of around 36 years. He was Director & Group CFO of Dalmia Bharat Ltd, Prior to this he was Group Director – Strategy & Finance with Panchshil Realty Group. He was also associated with Knowledge Infrastructure Group of Companies . Also worked as Group CFO, DB Group; Executive Director, Ican Investments Advisors Private Limited; CFO, Mercator Lines Limited and Finance, M&A, Treasury & Investor Relations wit Ambuja Cements.

He brings with him his relationships with various stakeholders (Bankers / Lenders / Private Funds/ FII) & deep knowledge of Capital Allocation Strategy, Corporate and Structured Finance, M & A and Investments and his work experience with varying industries.

Anil Govindan Nair

Independent Director
Anil Nair is an Independent Director on the Board of Syrma SGS. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from Bangalore University, and a postgraduate diploma in Management from XIMB, Bhubaneswar. He has completed the ISB-Kellogg Global Advanced Management Programme. He has 20+ years of experience in the IT and Consulting sectors. He has previously served as the President – Aegis Consulting with Aegis Limited, and the Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer with AGC Networks Ltd.

Hetal Madhukant Gandhi

Independent Director
Hetal Gandhi is an Independent Director on the Board of Syrma SGS. He holds a B.Com from the University of Bombay and is a member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He has approximately 35 years of experience in the financial services and management consultancy sectors. He has previously served as the Head – Financial Services, IL&FS, CEO, ORIX Auto and Business Solutions, and Director, Chalet Hotels. He is a co-founder of Tano India Advisors.

Smita Jatia

Independent Director
Smita Jatia is an Independent Director on the Board of Syrma SGS. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics, University of Bombay. She has completed the YPO-WPO Harvard spouse/partner program at Harvard Business School. She is a Director, Westlife Development Limited and the President of Hardcastle Restaurants Private Limited.

Bharat Anand

Independent Director
Bharat Anand is an Independent Director on the Board of Syrma SGS. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (honours course) in Economics from the University of Delhi. He is enrolled as an advocate with the Bar Council of Delhi. He has 20+ years of experience in Corporate Law, including in relation to Mergers and Acquisitions, Joint Ventures and Private Equity Transactions. He is a Partner at Khaitan & Co. and is responsible for the Corporate and M&A practice of the firm in Delhi. His strong expertise in complex M&A transactions has given him due recognition in Legal fraternity. He was also ranked by both Chambers Asia Pacific and UK as a “Band 1 Lawyer” for M&A work in Delhi

Kunal Naresh Shah

Satendra Singh

CEO
Satendra Singh is the CEO of Syrma SGS. He has over three decades of experience in operations, strategic planning, global supply chain, and manufacturing. Satendra has deep knowledge of Indian and global industry. He was most recently Global Head of Hardware Service Delivery at Nokia, and has held several leadership positions over a 15 year period. Prior to Nokia, He has also served as Director Operations at Flextronics where he led the P&L as Flex’s business head in India. Some of his key achievements have been setting up India’s largest telecom infrastructure manufacturing facility, crafting and implementing new global supply network strategies targeted to increase agility and market proximity, leading Industry 4.0 initiatives culminating in Nokia Oulu plant becoming a WEF lighthouse factory, leading global supply chain transition to save 100 M€+ in annual costs for Nokia, leveraging local supply ecosystem to optimize TCO and improve time to market, and turning around a loss-making supply operation in Flex India. Satendra holds a master’s degree in manufacturing management from BITS Pilani, and has completed advanced management program from IIM Bangalore, and several executive leadership programs at Nokia.

Ranjit Singh

Co-founder - International Business
Ranjit Singh is the Co-founder at SyrmaSGS. He heads International Business for Syrma SGS. He holds a B.Tech (Mechanical) from Delhi College of Engineering. He has over 39 years of Experience in the Electronics Industry primarily in Semiconductors, PC Assembly Lines and Telecom Equipment. He oversees all export operations across many geographies in US, Europe and Pan Asian countries.

Krishna Pant

Co-founder - Defence business
Krishna Pant is the Co-founder at SyrmaSGS. He heads Defence Business. He has graduated with honours from Delhi University & has a Post-Graduation in Business Management. He has over 39 years of Experience in Marketing & Management with leading Electronic, Telecom, Automotive and Pharmaceutical companies. A veteran in the industry, he is known for his service orientation and has established many new practices on customer front that has opened doors of opportunities.

Bijay Kumar Agrawal

CFO
Bijay Kumar Agrawal is the CFO of Syrma SGS. He is an MBA from The ICFAI University. He has 16+ years of experience in finance and business strategy. He has previously been associated with Manpower Services India, Dalmia Bharat and Omax Autos. His core strength is Banking, Treasury management, Mergers & Acquisitions, IPO , Private equity & fund raising.

Nelson Rajkumar

Chief People Officer
Nelson Rajkumar is the Chief People Officer. He is responsible for setting strategic direction that supports the company’s growth through its talent landscape. He enables cultural initiatives, talent attraction, talent management, industrial/employee relations. Nelson has 25 years of experience in HR and done his post-graduation from NMIMS. He is a certified coach and behavioural science practitioner. Additionally, he also holds a degree in law. He has worked with technology, telecom and manufacturing giants such as Nokia, Airtel and Reliance where he has built a high-performance culture and implemented strategy through modern people’s practices. He has also led cross-functional global teams and fostered relationships with key stakeholders in the industry. Geographically, his experience in transforming the people processes covers large regions such as India, MEA, APJ, Europe & Americas. He has been instrumental in standardising global processes, systems and tools. Nelson believes in “creating a workplace that enables all employees achieve their personal goals while they transform into catalysts who achieve organisational imperatives”

Rolly Srivastava

Chief Transformation Officer

Rolly Srivastava, Chief Transformation Officer at Syrma SGS, brings with her about two decades of experience. She has worked extensively to enable business transformation, value creation, enabling growth strategies, change management, culture and organisation design, talent management, and creating collaborative C-level teams. She is also a Certified Executive Leadership Coach, Design Thinking Practitioner and Negotiation Strategist. Previously, she has held leadership roles at Dalmia Bharat Limited, Jubilant Industries Ltd. & Crystal Crop Protection Ltd.

Manu P Dhagat

CEO - RFID

Manu brings a wealth of experience and expertise in the RFID segment with 27 years of industry experience. He has held key roles at renowned organizations such as BRIO Pharma Tech private Limited, Siva Inotec Ltd, Avery Dennison Pvt. Ltd,.

He served as Director -Partner over 2 years at Brio Pharma Tech Pvt Ltd and also as Consultant partner in SIVA Inotec Limited. In his previous position, Mr. Manu successfully fostered the relationship with Key accounts of Brio Pharma Tech and SIVA Inotec Limited.

His highest awarded qualification has been Master’s in International Business from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Delhi.

Kapil Maini

Chief Procurement Officer

Kapil is a Mechanical Engineer with a distinguished career spanning over three decades in the Automobile, Automotive, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), and Telecom industries. He has held numerous regional and global leadership roles in Procurement, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain Management, successfully leading transnational teams.

Kapil has a proven track record in managing start-ups and driving transformational and operational efficiency programs, including organizational development initiatives. He consistently focuses on organizational growth, emphasizing end-to-end cost optimization and delivery capability enhancement.

A firm believer in empowering his teams and leveraging technology, Kapil encourages continuous learning and improvement. His academic credentials include a Mechanical Engineering degree from the Delhi College of Engineering, Delhi University, and an alumni status from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and the Harvard Business School.

At Syrma SGS, sustainability is at the core of Business strategy and the same is achieved through integration of ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) programmes across all the business functions.

@ Syrma SGS, Environmental management system (EMS) is considered as the first step toward sustainability and accordingly the environmental management system is reviewed and updated at regular intervals. Employees must incorporate the EMS contents into their daily operations. Our environmental management efforts include,
